Unbeaten run continues for 2s.

Llanishen 2s travelled to near neighbours Cardiff Quins, games between the sides rarely disappoint and this game was no exception. The visitors took an early lead when outstanding scrum half Mark Stobbs took a quick penalty to score the opening try, Tom Ryall converted. The Quins then enjoyed a period of pressure which lead to a try in the corner, well converted to bring the scores level, from the kick off though they conceeded a penalty which Ryall slotted over to regain the lead for Llanishen. Both sides were running at every opportunity, Stobbs got a second try and set up wing Lewis Lloyd for Llanishens third, Quins then got their second before strong running full back Keiron Maguire crossed under the posts, Ryall converted then with the last kick of a frenetic first half Quins converted a penalty to give a half time score of Quins 15 Llanishen 27. The home side started the second half the stonger and scored a converted try to get within five points, wing Elian Owen got another Llanishen try converted by Maguire, the home side then got their fourth try to get a well deserved bonus point, but it was llanishen who had the last word Owen getting his second , Maguire adding the extras. Final score in a match well controlled by referee Rob Lewis, and which was a credit to Cardiff and District rugby Cardiff Quins 2s 29 Llanishen 2s 41.
