Event: Last Game at Usk Road

Llanishen RFC will play their last ever match on our home pitch of Usk Road on 26th November 2017. Llanishen RFC are moving to a new 3G facility at the local high school. A great community project between club and school. The pitch will be ready for use in Summer 2018, but in the meantime the current senior pitch at Usk Road is being redeveloped. To mark this momentous occasion, and the end of an era we want to host an event worthy of the history with a special day of activities across the whole club, from under 7’s through to past players. On Sunday 26th November, we will have a 5-6 hour event covering under 7’s rugby, right through to senior and veteran club players. We will also be playing the Llanelli Warriors, a club with a very special set up as you will see if you click on the link below: http://www.pitchero.com/clubs/llanelliwarriorsrfc/a/about-us-40147.html The matches between the teams will be the culmination of the day, and the last ever matches on this historic pitch. The day would also include a number of activities featuring the younger age groups at the club, finishing with a buffet back at the local clubhouse. There will also be charity collections for Cancer Research Wales. All are welcome. We welcome Vets players to play on the day .
