Llanishen 2’s welcomed St.Peters, a team they has lost heavily to earlier in the season, to Usk Road on Saturday 25th March.
The first half belonged to the home side who scored tries from Stef Boyd, Sam Jones-Williams, Carl Tyers and Gareth Vaterlaws, with Keiron Toynton adding one conversion, the visitors scoring one try in reply, half time score 22 - 5.
Vaterlaws, Tyers and Rhys Williams all left the field with injuries, and as Llanishen only had one back sub, forwards John Southcott and Barrie Phillips had to play in the centre.
St. Peters took advantage of the re-arranged backline and got themselves back in the game by scoring three tries, two of which were converted.
Home No 8 Jay Lewis also had to leave the field but Llanishen regrouped, Jones-Williams got a second try which Boyd converted, Chris Kinsey went over in the corner and with the last kick of the game Toynton kicked a penalty to give a final score of Llanishen 2’s 34 St. Peters 2’s 24.
